He is best known for turning a pickup truck and $800 into Nelbud Services Group, one of the nation’s largest fire and life safety platforms. Over two decades, he engineered (3) successful exits, (9) acquisitions, and service to more than 40,000 customer locations annually. His leadership philosophy, anchored in adaptability, technology, and people-first culture, has become a blueprint for building resilient companies admired as much for how they operate as for what they achieve.

Michael also serves on the boards of Polygon Composites, Freije Engineered Solutions, Lushin & Associates, and YPO Indiana, where he is currently Chapter Chair.
